Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka's birthplace was Minsk which is located in Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. 2019.) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. She has won twelve WTA singles titles, including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles specialist she has also won both the US Open of 2019 as well as the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, winning the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. This feat was only achieved by four couples in singles for women. There were only four couples that achieved this feat during women's doubles. That same year she took home the title the title in Melbourne, and after that went to the top spot worldwide for doubles.
